Projects
Promoting International Law through Film means supporting AdvocacyProductions’ quest to solely create films “to strengthen international law” as a unique genre. The following three films and film products have so far been produced and are available to members in their full versions.
It is with these projects PILF aims to attract members, donors and funding agents, while promoting international law through film.
Efforts to promote international law through film have been supported by a number of Swiss Embassies.

The Curious
Current Film Project

Our current film project, “The Curious” has so far reached an approximate funding level of 45%. To help us finalize this youth-centred international law film project, we are asking for financial contributions from individuals and institutions alike.
We are planning on inserting a final section on how young people from 14+ can guard themselves from deliberate misinformation. Journalists from all corners of the world will be invited to a webinar.
The Curious aims at getting worldwide distribution and to be freely available for any learner.
Donations
Make a donation
With a donation not designated to a particular project you ensure production related costs of any description can be supported. This ensures flexibility in delivering projects where its needed most. We very much appreciate this type of assistance especially when we are in the pre-production or research phase for a new product.
Sponsorships
Sponsorships are a very direct way of financing a product. This option for Podcasts and Expert Interviews helps AdvocacyProductions act swiftly to opportunities during screening & debating tours, or during film festivals premieres.
To know that a film team can be hired and the interviewee filmed in an authentic environment gives us the edge of taking swift action. It also means that costs can be kept low.
Sponsors will be visibly credited for their generosity.
To exclusively sponsor an Expert Interview means you are actually taking part in a film project. Our individual interviews with experts of international law and diplomacy are the key ingredient for our Series capturing Candid Testimonies on International Law: “Behind-the-Chambers” and “Outside-the-Court”.
Each Series contains some 6 interviews which our interview partners speak freely and from their vast experience of the subject, be they Judges, Special Rapporteurs, or Academics.
Sponsoring an Expert Interview (CHF 2500) entitles you to get involved in the process, e.g. brainstorming its concept and the final edits with our team online.
